New Year's eve by square Milan

New Year's Eve in Milan is synonymous of big celebration: royal dinner, parties at clubs, theatres and especially the celebration of the arriving of midnight in Duomo Square. Fundamental for the traditionalists: the toast is auspice of a peaceful new year, especially the toast below the Duomo, symbol of the beautiful Milan and below the Virgin Mary that looks at everyone from the top.

This year as usual, the free concert organized by the Municipality in collaboration with F&P Group will enliven the last night of 2017. The chosen artists are Fabri Fibra and Luca Carboni: they will close 2017.

The schedule is still unknown, but we expect a really unique night in the name of the music to celebrate the end of 2017 in the main square of Milan, a city of many resources and universally known for fashion and design. The ideal event for the ones who love staying in company, dancing and singing under the stars looking at the amazing Duomo which has something magic during Christmas time thanks to the lights, the decorations and mainly to special Christmas tree in the middle of the square.

Thinking of the security of the audience at the concert and of everyone who wants to enjoy the beauty of the square in the most important night of the year, security forces and local police will be present. They will be supported by volunteers organized by the Civil Protection that will control the entrances to the square.

Their presence will help to limit the celebrating crowd too. The public transport is guaranteed: ATM continues its service during the night, so that people can come back home from concert or from a walk in Milan to celebrate New Year's Eve.

Again we will celebrate the New Year with a big free concert, open to all the city- the assessor of the Culture Filippo Del Corno says- a fix date to value the Italian and international talents and to restore Duomo Square as a place of sociality and music, usable in security and cheerfulness.
